Lower Antelope Canyon, Part II

Lower Antelope Canyon may be the most breathtaking 400 yards in the United States.  The combination of color, texture, and light are both utterly unique and amazingly varied.

Some formations resembled taffy pulls, all swirls and curves.

Others were harsher, more jagged and severe.

Layers upon layers, depths and shadows.  Forms that defied words, and so demanded to be captured in a photograph to convey even a small sense of themselves.

The sky burst onto the scene, a white-hot intruder in the cool confines of the canyon.

Light found dust, and in so doing added a new dimension to the display.
